Doctors have varying consultation times between 08.50 and 17.40. Nurses see patients between 08.30 and 18.00.

Open Surgery runs every weekday morning for patients who cannot wait for a booked appointment.

Please telephone before 10.00am on the same morning to be given an appointment for Open Surgery, or come in early to book an appointment and wait to be seen.

There are arrangements for emergency appointments each weekday afternoon.

Home Visits

homevisits If you require a home visit, please telephone before 10.00am so the Doctor on call can plan his/her visiting schedule, giving details of your ailment so the urgency of the visit can be assessed.

A doctor may phone you back as it may be that your problem can be dealt with by telephone advice.

Home visits are only available for patients who are housebound because of illness or disability.

If possible, please try to attend the Surgery where better facilities are available for your examination and treatment.

Test Results

Please call between 10:30am and 4.30pm to enquire about your test results as our office staff will have more time to deal with your request between these times.

Please note that the practice has a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection and we will only release test results to the person to whom they relate unless that person has given prior permission for the release of this data or they are not capable of understanding the results.

When you take your test you will be told how long it will be before the results are returned to the practice.

It is your responsibility to check your results and to make an appointment to discuss them with your doctor if you are advised to do so.
