Non-urgent advice: About The Surgery

Situated in the foothills of the Malvern Hills, this purpose-built building was opened in 2001 to provide excellent quality of care to the residents of Malvern.

The number of patients we care for has steadily increased from an initial 7000 to nearly 12000 patients today, a testament to our excellent reputation within the town.

Whiteacres is proud to be a training practice where we supervise the training of Resident Doctors and Doctors who are training to be GPs from across Hereford and Worcestershire. We are also a teaching practice for the Community Based Medicine (CBM) component of the University of Birmingham.

We have 5 GP partners who lead the practice, 5 employed GPs  and usually between 3-5 Resident Doctors (Doctors in training). We have a varied and experienced nursing and health care team who are able to provide specialised care for a variety of long term conditions.

The large administration team compromising of 18 staff members, headed by Dr Thompson as Managing Partner, all play a vital role supporting the clinical staff in carrying out essential administration tasks and supporting the safe delivery of clinical care.

Opening Times

The practice is open Monday to Friday 8.00am to 6.30pm.

Urgent line is open from 8.00am Monday to Friday. This is for urgent medical issues that need same-day medical attention from a GP only. If your enquiry is not urgent please consider the triage form or wait till 8.30am.

Appointments / General enquiries / Nursing enquiries line is open Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6.30pm.

Triage system is open Monday to Friday 8.00am to 6.30pm. Triage may be paused once a safe limit of triages has been received in order to maintain our quality care provision.

We are closed for all public holidays and bank holidays.
